With more than 150 dive sites throughout the region, this expedition offers an extraordinary variety of underwater environments and marine life.

But what makes this adventure truly special is how we travel. Instead of simply transferring between resorts by road, we'll dive our way from one destination to the next, exploring remote sites along the journey that are less frequently visited by other dive operations.

Destination One: Manado & Bunaken National Park

July 10–14, 2028 | 4 Nights at Murex Manado

Our journey begins at Murex Manado, a beautiful waterfront dive resort and gateway to the world-renowned Bunaken National Park.

Bunaken is famous for its spectacular vertical coral walls, vibrant hard coral formations, and remarkable marine biodiversity. Imagine drifting alongside dramatic underwater walls surrounded by schools of tropical fish while sea turtles glide effortlessly through the blue.

The waters surrounding Manado are home to reef sharks, sea snakes, eagle rays, stingrays, and an incredible variety of reef fish and macro life. Dolphins and pilot whales are also known to frequent the region.

Our diving schedule features two guided morning boat dives on scheduled diving days, with afternoons available to relax by the pool, explore the local area, or participate in optional diving and sightseeing activities.

Destination Two: Bangka Island – A Tropical Underwater Paradise

July 14–19, 2028 | 5 Nights at Murex Bangka Resort

Our second destination takes us to beautiful Bangka Island, where spectacular soft corals, dramatic underwater pinnacles, and exceptionally diverse marine life create some of North Sulawesi's most breathtaking underwater scenery.

The adventure begins before we even arrive!

Our Passport to Paradise boat transfer from Manado to Bangka includes two guided dives at remote locations along the route. These sites are not frequently accessed by other resorts, making the journey itself a unique diving opportunity.

Bangka is a paradise for both wide-angle and macro underwater photography. Its colorful coral gardens and thriving reef systems are home to pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, frogfish, harlequin shrimp, octopuses, and a remarkable variety of reef fish.

Larger marine life may include reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, tuna, barracuda, and schooling fish. Dolphins, pilot whales, and even dugongs are among the species found in the region.

Above the surface, Bangka offers the perfect tropical island atmosphere. Relax on beautiful white sand beaches, unwind in a hammock, or explore peaceful mangrove waterways by kayak.

Our scheduled diving includes two guided morning dives, leaving afternoons available for relaxation, optional additional dives, or exploring the island.

Destination Three: Lembeh Strait – The Critter Capital of the World

July 19–24, 2028 | 5 Nights at Lembeh Resort

Our final destination takes us to one of the most fascinating underwater environments on Earth: the legendary Lembeh Strait.

Known internationally as the Critter Capital of the World, Lembeh is a premier destination for muck diving, rare marine life, and underwater macro photography.

Once again, our journey between resorts becomes part of the adventure, with two guided dives included during our boat transfer from Bangka to Lembeh.

Unlike traditional reef diving, Lembeh's distinctive volcanic sand slopes and unusual underwater habitats conceal an extraordinary concentration of rare and fascinating marine creatures.

This is where the smallest discoveries often become the most memorable.

Imagine encountering a hairy frogfish perfectly camouflaged against the seafloor, watching a flamboyant cuttlefish display its brilliant colors, or observing the remarkable behavior of a mimic octopus.

Lembeh is home to an extraordinary variety of frogfish, octopuses, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, shrimp, and other unusual species.

The Passport to Paradise Experience – Dive Between Destinations!

One of the defining features of this trip is the unique Passport to Paradise resort-to-resort diving experience.

Rather than losing valuable diving time traveling between locations, we'll explore remote dive sites as we move from Manado to Bangka and from Bangka to Lembeh.

Four guided transfer dives are included, in addition to 22 regularly scheduled guided boat dives, for a total of 26 guided boat dives with Nitrox.

Our resort partners coordinate the transfers, diving arrangements, and luggage movement, allowing guests to enjoy a seamless transition between destinations.

You'll experience three distinct marine environments, each offering its own remarkable diving opportunities, without the inconvenience of organizing separate dive vacations.

Travelers interested in exploring beyond the reefs can arrange optional excursions to discover the region's natural beauty and local traditions.

Minahasa Highlands: Explore traditional markets, volcanic landscapes, scenic lakes, and the cultural heritage of North Sulawesi. Highlights may include Lake Linow, Lake Tondano, and Mahawu Volcano.

Tangkoko National Park: Discover unique wildlife, including Sulawesi's famous tarsiers, black crested macaques, hornbills, and other fascinating species.

Manado City: Explore local markets, historic temples, churches, and the culture of this vibrant Indonesian city.

Bangka Island: Enjoy peaceful kayaking through mangrove waterways or arrange a guided visit to the local village of Lihunu.

Travel Dates & International Arrangements

U.S. Departure: July 8, 2028

Travelers departing from the United States should plan to begin their international journey on July 8, 2028, to accommodate international flight connections and arrive in North Sulawesi on July 10.

Arrival in Indonesia: July 10, 2028

Our Passport to Paradise resort itinerary officially begins July 10, with arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport (MDC) in Manado.

Upon arrival, resort representatives will provide an escorted transfer to Murex Manado, approximately 45–60 minutes from the airport. Guests will be welcomed to the resort and introduced to the adventure ahead.

Resort Departure: July 24, 2028

Our 14-night expedition concludes July 24, with checkout from Lembeh Resort and an escorted transfer to the airport.

International airfare is not included. Travelers should coordinate flight schedules to ensure timely arrival and appropriate surface intervals before flying after diving.

The following are not included in the resort package:

• International airfare and personal travel expenses

• Additional boat dives beyond those included in the package

• Night, blackwater, bonfire, and other specialty dive surcharges

• Private dive guide services

The four dives included during the two resort-to-resort boat transfers are scheduled as part of those transfers and cannot be rescheduled or carried forward if unused.

All diving is subject to weather, sea conditions, diver qualifications, and appropriate safety considerations. Marine life sightings cannot be guaranteed.
